Blitz & Blunderz put on an amateur chess tournaments to raise money for charity. The first tournament is on April 16, 2022 live streamed on Twitch: <1000 rated Content Creators. Earnings will go to the Trisomy 18 Foundation.
This was a fully virtual chess tournament. All elements fo the tournament were live, including video, visual and audio of the players and commentators. The stream lasted roughly 8 hours via twitch and had over 115 unique viewers. The tournament was a double elimination round robin styled bracket consisting of 10 minute games. You can all eight platers with our custom graphic cards below. I assisted with the backstage traffic and Christian (Live commentator) used a stream deck to que custom transitions and various vantage points.
The entire tournament took months to plan. I assisted the team of three as a meeting facilitator, graphic designer, tournament logistics, tournament head hunter and stream technician. I had worked with Christian before in AZ Loop within the engineering and business teams.
We raised $1000 for the trisomy 18 foundation and witnessed some great chess playing! See picture below!
